Help us Support Nova Scotians with Parkinson's

We are so proud of the work PSNS has done for those affected by Parkinson's in Nova Scotia - thanks to our volunteers and donors. However, we want to help even more people who need us across the province. And invite you to help us do just that with whatever time and talents you have to give. Here are a couple of elements we'd love to grow our Volunteer community with. If anything here speaks to you, please do reach out. And if you'd like to contribute in other ways, we'd welcome that too! Support Group Facilitator Lead a local support group, providing a safe space for individuals living with Parkinson’s and their families to connect and share experiences. Advocacy Ambassador Help us raise awareness and advocate for improved care, services, and resources for those in the Parkinson’s community. And support PSNS as we endeavour to provide information and services. Fundraising Help us as we raise funds to enable us to continue providing information, resources, and support. Newsletter Help us to connect with as many Nova Scotians who need information and resources on Parkinson’s as possible with our regular newsletter. Media Relations Help us to spread the word about PSNS to more local news outlets so that we can help even more of the Nova Scotia Parkinson’s community. Interested? Great! Please click the Email Us button to discuss how you'd like to support!

Advocacy Work

We are committed to ensuring all persons living with Parkinson’s in our Nova Scotia communities are given a voice.

We are driven to ensure all people living with Parkinson’s have appropriate levels of care at all stages of the disease. So, we raise awareness about new treatments and advocate for easy access to these treatments on behalf of all Nova Scotians affected by Parkinson’s.

Donations Welcome

Want to make a real difference in the lives many in Nova Scotia?

The more funds we raise, the more Nova Scotians we can help! 100% of the donations made to our Society remain in Nova Scotia to provide programs and services for people living with Parkinson’s. Our mandate can only be met through the generous support of donors & sponsors.

So we thank you for giving, if you can.
